STYLING WITH UNDERSTANDING
At Style By, inclusivity isn’t just a word — it’s woven into every part of what I do.
As a trained professional counsellor as well as a stylist and woman who has ADHD herself, I bring a deeper level of sensitivity to every client experience. I understand that each person’s relationship with clothing, shopping, and self-expression is unique — and that for those who are neurodivergent, traditional styling approaches don’t always feel like a comfortable experience.
That’s why I create a calm, pressure-free environment where you set the pace. Whether you prefer structured guidance or more flexible exploration, I adapt my approach to meet you where you are.
"I recognise that shopping environments can often be overwhelming — from harsh lighting and noise to crowded spaces and sensory overload. That’s why I take time to create a space and a process that feels as calm, thoughtful, and curated as possible".
To make the experience even more comfortable, private personal styling suites are available* — perfect if you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxed space away from the usual hustle of busy stores. I also offer a pre-shopping service, where I carefully select and prepare clothing choices ahead of your appointment. This helps to reduce sensory overwhelm and decision fatigue, making the whole experience feel easier, calmer, and fully tailored to you.
From considering sensory friendly fabrics and fits to breaking down styling choices into manageable, low-stress steps, my focus is always on making you feel seen, heard, and celebrated — exactly as you are.
If you would like to discuss any accessibility needs or preferences ahead of your session, you’re warmly invited to get in touch. Every detail can be tailored to help you feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself.
