I've always been a big fan of Origins products. I'm drawn to companies who use naturally derived ingredients and Origins is a brand who do just that. I've always been a huge fan of a face mask. As a mum of two and juggling home life with running a business, having that self care routine for me is really important. And with that bath I always treat my skin to a mask after a cleanse.
I love experimenting with new face masks. The beauty with the Origin mask collections is that they help target specific skin concerns such as breakouts, congestion, dehydration (that's me) and irritation.
OUT OF TROUBLE - 10 MINUTE MASK TO THE RESCUE.. PROBLEM SKIN.
A great mask to use whenever problems arise on your skin. Think of it as your SOS remedy. The mask contains Zinc Oxide and Sulphur which helps to absorb any excess oil and protect the skin. The glycerin in it helps to restore the skins natural balance.
I love a face mask that I can use for the whole of my. face; however this works equally as well if you just wanted the mask to target a specific problem area. Just apply a thin layer to the face and watch it's natural ingredients work their magic. Let the mask dry for ten minutes before gently wiping off.
Luckily I don't suffer from many breakouts and during the time of the use my skin wasn't a problem so I can't comment on it's effect on reducing inflammation or breakouts - however my did feel smooth and refreshed after. I feel it would be a great product to use on those time of the month spots.

GinZing Peel off mask - to refine and refresh
I love a mask that's a little fun to use - and this peel off mask doesn't disappoint in terms of peel satisfaction. Designed to combat dull and tired skin, it's ingredients contain coffee beans, pans ginseng and natural fruit acids. This is the kind of mask I'd enjoy on a Sunday evening with a glass of red wine after the kids are in bed.
I must admit though, on first application my eyes became super sensitive to the smell of the mask and they started to water. It does specify to avoid the eye and hairline area before applying. Once I'd got used to the smell I really enjoyed using this mask. It takes around 10 - 15 minutes for the mask to dry properly. Once the metallic mask has dried then the fun begins! ( Watch the video below for peel satisfaction.) A useful tip - smiling whilst peeling helps remove the mask. It's easy enough to do but can get a little fiddly towards the end. However the end result didn't disappoint. My skin felt refreshed, hydrated and glowing.

Hello calm - Relaxing and hydrating mask
I was hesitant about using something that was bright green on my face - purely for the fact of getting it everywhere, however the texture of this mask is so light you barely notice you're wearing it.
Hello calm did not disappoint. The Cannabis Satvia Seed Oil has deeply calming properties and helps hydrate the skin. When first applying the mask, the smell instantly
calms you and the feel of it in your skin feels like you should be in a hidden spa retreat in the middle of the Cotswolds. (Check out my video for just how relaxed I was at applying it to my skin.)
I also loved that it was so easy to wipe off. The excess of the mask I massaged into my skin after. A little will go a long way. For me it's the perfect treat for your skin at the end of a week.
